1. Where Is The Fall Foliage Festival Located?
The Bedford Fall Foliage Festival celebrates the crafts, arts and culture of the local community. It usually takes place in the historical downtown Bedford, in the crisp mountains of central Pennsylvania.

2. When Does The Festival Happen?
The fest is always held in the first two weeks of October, on Saturday and Sunday. This year, Fall Foliage Festival will occur on October 2-3 and October 9-10, starting from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.

3. What Are The Attractions Of The Bedford Fall Foliage Festival?
Hundreds Of Arts & Crafts And Food Vendors
Come to the fest, you’ll be amazed by a myriad of vendors on the festival’s ground. Those can be handmade clothes & apparel, home decor, furniture, seasonal items, jewelry, festive treats & concessions, fast food, beverages, and so much more.

The Antique Car Parade
This interesting parade is one of the highlights of the Bedford Fall Foliage Festival. It launched more than a half-century ago, with the presence of over 100 vintage cars. The parade usually begins at 2.00 pm on the second Saturday only.

The Antique Car Parade starts at Bedford Area High School, runs along from John Street to Richard Street and ends on Penn Street. However, the lead trolley and cars which carry the Queen Contestants will continue leaving to the Bedford County Courthouse.
Live Local Entertainments
Entertainments and Musicians can’t be missed at a festival. At the Fall Foliage, you will be indulging in performances of local artists with current hits, originals and classics. Bring a chair and spend time dancing and singing along at the festival stages.

Activities For The Whole Family

4. Do The Fest Allow Pets?
In the Bedford Fall Foliage Festival areas, no pets are allowed (including dogs, ferrets, cats, monkeys, snakes…) due to safety concerns. If you bring your pets to the fest, you will be asked to leave the area.
5. Where To Park At The Bedford Fall Foliage Festival?
If you drive to the fest, there are several parking areas available at Old Bedford Village and Bedford County Fairgrounds. The cost for each car is $7, including a free shuttle ride. Additional street parking might also be available during the fest.

6. Where Are Restrooms?
The Fall Foliage provides several portable facilities throughout the festival grounds, from Central Way, Fort Bedford Museum, the Bedford County Courthouse to along the River. Due to the large volume of visitors, the public facilities may be overcrowded.
7. Where Is The Public ATM?
If you don’t want to bring much cash, there are some public ATMs at Altoona First Savings Bank and M&T Bank, which is located at the corner of Juliana and Pitt Streets and First National Bank on both Richard and Juliana Streets.
